Ullerup was part of the cast as Julia Brynn, a character in the remake show Battlestar Galactica that aired 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. The character she played, Ashley Magnus, was written out of Sanctuary's first and second season. The reason for her departure led to heated discussion among fans. There was a desire to have her back in future episode, before the show was cancelled in 2012. Ullerup appeared as Bree O'Brien, in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas the estranged husband of Michael Thomas. From 2016 Ullerup has been playing a regular character as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies series.
