Anna Chlumsky

Actress who first became famous as a child actor, when she appeared as Vada Sultenfuss, a character in the 1991 film My Girl. The actress began her portrayal in the role of Amy Brookheimer in the HBO show Veep in the year 2012. The actress' Primetime Emmy Award nominations in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series were for this role. Many of us still remember the young Chlumsky as Vada Margaret, a character she played in the film My Girl. Chlumsky was a popular actress who played numerous roles throughout her early years and later took a break from acting and pursue a degree in international relations at the University of Chicago. She relocated to New York after graduation and was employed as a publisher. Chlumsky returned to acting shortly after having graduated from the Atlantic Acting School in New York. She was given roles as Liz Lemler, Josie on Cupid as well as Melissa on White Collar. She also appeared as Miriam Lass, a torture survivor on Veep. American actor Anna Chlumsky plays Amy Brookheimer who is the Vice President's Chief of Staff, in the HBO popular show Veep. In this role she was nominated for an Emmy Award
